Cork feet for concrete
I add cork feet to my concrete vessels to make the base less scratchy and a bit more level, even if I’ve sanded the bottom. It’s a simple upgrade that makes the jar feel nicer to repurpose later (plant pot, brushes, pencils, etc.).
Pros
- +Helps protect surfaces from rough concrete bottoms
- +Improves stability/levelness of the vessel
- +Nice finishing touch for repurposing the container
Cons
- -Extra step/time during finishing
- -May need occasional replacement if they wear over time
