We started the night before inside The Breakfast Bar, cooking until late. Then we met again at sunrise to box everything up and deliver hundreds of meals throughout the city with the help of dozens of volunteers. Monte doesn’t do this for cameras or attention. He does it because serving the community is who he is. And being part of this reminded me of why giving back matters so much—especially during the holidays.
