About This Video

In this video I walk you through how to get set up on The StoryGraph from scratch and actually use it in a way that helps you read more (and pick better books). I show you the basics—creating your account, setting up your reading preferences, and starting to track what you’re reading—because if you don’t build that foundation, the recommendations are never going to feel “right.” Then I get into the fun part: tracking your reading and using StoryGraph’s data to your advantage. I talk about how I use it to log books, keep tabs on my TBR, and get recommendations that are based on what I’m actually in the mood for (not just what’s popular). I also touch on StoryGraph vs Goodreads and why StoryGraph can be a really solid option if you want more stats, more mood/pace-based discovery, and less of the social-media vibe. If you’ve been curious but overwhelmed, this is the step-by-step setup I wish I had when I started.
