The iphone 15 review the good the bad the ugly In this in-depth review, I take a little closer look at the all-new standard model iPhone 15 Plus, which is one of Apple's latest smartphone. I made good effort to cover everything from its sleek design and powerful A16 Bionic chip to its impressive updated camera system and long-lasting battery life. I also talked about some of the phone's shortcomings, such as the lack of a higher refresh rate display and the lack of fast charging capabilities. Let me know what think of the video in the comments below. And if you have questions about the iphone 15, feel free to ask. About This Video

For the first time in a while, the standard iPhone 15 doesn’t feel miles away from the Pro models—and that’s the whole point of this review. I spent time testing the iPhone 15 Plus and broke it down into the good, the bad, and the ugly: USB‑C finally showing up, what that actually changes day-to-day, and where Apple is still clearly holding back. I talk charging speeds (still topping out around 18W), the reality of USB 2 transfer speeds on the standard model, and why—personally—charging speed is the least of my worries when the battery is this good. Design-wise, it looks a lot like the 14 Plus, but the subtle upgrades matter: Dynamic Island is now here, and it’s genuinely convenient for quick controls and notifications. I also cover the new “infused” back glass and my thoughts on the muted colors (the pink one I tested looks the best out of the bunch, in my opinion). The biggest downside is still the 60Hz display—good for daily use, but hard to justify at this price when other phones offer higher refresh rates. Camera and performance are where the 15 Plus really shines. The main camera jumps to 48MP, and that enables a legit 2x option that I used a lot and came away impressed with. Add in strong 4K video features, the A16 Bionic’s fast performance, and battery that can push into a second day, and I’m recommending the non‑Pro iPhones to more people than ever.
