About This Video

As a tech lover and content creator, I’ve always wanted one backpack that can do a little more of pretty much everything—more organized, more sleek, and more travel-friendly… without looking like I’m about to hike a mountain. Because of that, I ended up stacking up different bags depending on the day. In this video, I break down the Nayo Smart Herman H2, which I’ve been testing for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly been quietly turning into my new go-to EDC bag. I talk through the design and build first, because that’s one of my favorite parts: clean, minimal, and it doesn’t scream “I’m carrying thousands of dollars worth of gear.” The half roll-top gives you flexibility to pack light or expand when you need more space, and the water-resistant 840D cordura nylon with smooth YKK zippers feels premium. Then I get into the real highlight—storage and organization. It’s around 23–25L with two main compartments, a padded laptop sleeve that fits up to a 16-inch MacBook Pro, tons of pockets, hidden zippers, and a pretty unique Fidlock-style magnetic quick access system. I also cover comfort (wide padded straps, airflow channel, solid weight distribution) and the downsides I noticed—roll-top access taking extra steps, wishing for an extra zipper, and the lack of clear RFID protection info. Overall, it’s a strong contender if you want one bag that can flex between work, commute, and weekend travel.
