About This Video

In this video I’m breaking down my real-world experience with the Beats Studio Pro after using them every chance I got. On paper, these are supposed to compete with the best from Sony and others, but after living with them, I’m not fully convinced—especially at the $350 price. I talk through the design (very “classic Beats,” maybe a little too unchanged), the build (pretty plasticky for the money), and the comfort, because the earcups feel on the smaller side and the clamping force is a bit much for longer sessions. Feature-wise, the Studio Pro is honestly a little puzzling. You get a decent balance between iOS and Android, spatial audio with head tracking on Apple, and USB-C lossless audio (which is genuinely cool), but you also lose things I really expect at this price—like ear detection auto-pause. I also cover call quality, noise canceling, and transparency mode: all solid and usable, but not “best in class” compared to something like my Sony XM5s. My takeaway is simple: these make way more sense on sale (around $180–$250). At full price, I think you can get more for your money elsewhere.
