More information available at https://growlight.reviews/viparspectra-xs1000/ Today we look at the Viparspoectra xs 1000 led grow light. This is the newest addition to the XS series lineup. So to start this light uses Lm301b diodes using a mix of 3000k 5000k 660nm and 730 nm ir diodes. I test the XS1000 PAR output, include a detailed PAR map, test the wattage draw from the wall and also the heat output in a non-ventilated area. This version has downgraded from an HLG series Meanwell driver to an XLG series driver. This is a downgrade and not one that I am very happy about. Pretty much everything else is the same with the rest of the xs series with the exception that now the light can be turned off by the dimmer where before it went from 5% power to 100% without the ability to turn off the light. When compared to the P series it is pretty much the same efficacy wise but the wattage and parts used do differ.
