My dive buddy, Kei, snagged two kayaks, which got me incredibly excited to test them out and explore new diving locations that we wouldn't typically visit. These kayaks opened up opportunities to reach areas farther from the shore or otherwise inaccessible without some form of watercraft. Upon reaching our chosen spot, we quickly realized that the water's visibility was incredibly poor, with only about a foot of clarity. Throughout the dive, we remained on high alert to avoid colliding with rocks due to the strong surge pushing us towards underwater structures. Despite the challenging conditions, we didn't spot many potential keeper lobsters. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic experience taking the kayaks on their maiden voyage.
