Adobe Illustrator 2024: Copy, Reuse or Duplicate FX - Graphic Style Effects for text and objects

There are many ways to reuse, copy and paste, or duplicate styles in Illustrator. In this tutorial, Kelly from Designer to Fullstack shows how to use the Appearance panel, Graphic Styles, and Layers panel to quickly duplicate, save, and reapply effects like drop shadows, strokes, and fills. Option 1 - Drag your appearance square thumbnail to the object/text you want those same styles applied to. Option 2 - Create a custom graphic style (you can drag the thumbnail into the Graphic Styles panel or use the Fly Out panel to save a new graphic style) Option 3 - Make an effect and then go to the next object and click the same effect; the default style will stay the same. Option 4 - Command Shift E (Mac) to reapply the last style you used on another object/text. Option 5 - Duplicate Layer effects using the Target icon in the Layers Panel. Duplicate by holding Option while dragging.
