Longboarding in the Phoenix heat was BRUTAL. This weekend of our @BeyondtheBoard_org longboard tour took the energy of 2 weekends in 1 haha We started off the weekend by skating around Tempe at night with some of the longboarders at ASU. Saturday morning we hosted free longboard dancing lessons in the blistering heat and got kicked out by security. Fortunately the cops were rad and said we could stay and wanted to take a group photo with us haha We opted to do the City Takeover Skate Scavenger Hunt at night because it was like 105º. Little did we know it would be still be 101º at night 😅 This group was especially hyped on the longboard trick challenges. @BrookeDoesEverything's women and LGBTQIA+ meet-up was the biggest yet! Shoutout to our friend Stephanie for helping out and being such a great role model. We finished our time in Phoenix by hosting a little beginner longboard clinic for some of the grandkids at my grandmas retirement home.
