Part 3 of our 6 part series is about one of the most important things that has helped me stay motivated while longboarding the past 12 years. Interested in taking your longboarding to the next level? Check out Amp Skate for bite-sized tutorials on countless longboard tricks: https://ampskate.com/tricks So here’s the thing, no matter if we’re talking about overcoming longboard freestyle tricks, career goals, chasing your dreams, the biggest thing holding most people back is a lack of self confidence and an abundance of fear. This especially comes out with skating and longboarding because we all know how much it can hurt when you mess up. Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right.” Basically what he’s trying to say is that if you doubt yourself and think you can’t land that next trick - you probably won’t. Now, I’m really excited because I’ll share something with you that has made my skating so much more positive and fulfilling and nobody else teaches this. I call it "The Pyramid Scheme". Basically what we’re trying to do here is start each session with a series of small wins. By doing this we gain confidence in our abilities and build positive momentum which in turn makes us progress much quicker and with more joy. 0:00 - 0:46 Intro 0:47 - 1:26 Think you CAN 1:27 - 2:08 THE PYRAMID SCHEME 2:09 - 2:27 Step 1 2:28 - 2:54 Step 2 2:55 - 3:47 Step 3 3:48 - 5:02 Outro Subscribe for more weekly content! http://bit.ly/DesGNARlaisYouTube | SET UP | Moonshine MFG Eclipse Firm Paris Truck Co 180mm 50º V3 Powell Peralta DH 69mm Snakes RipTide bushings ♫ MUSIC BY ♫ http://bit.ly/EpidemicDesgnarlais #Longboarding
