I use a water heater flushing wand to get the sediment off the bottom of the tank—especially when you’re seeing that milky calcification coming out. It hooks right to a hose and lets me work the spray around inside the tank so it finally runs clear. It’s one of those simple tools that makes yearly maintenance a whole lot easier.
