Plastic chisels/scrapers are one of my favorite “don’t damage the RV” tools, and Darren uses them the same way. They let you remove old sealant and gunk without gouging paint, and you can even sharpen them as they wear down.
Pros
- +Non-marring removal of old sealant/adhesive
- +Safer than metal scrapers on paint and fiberglass
Cons
- -May need sharpening/replacing over time
- -Takes patience on thick, stubborn material
