This Klein infrared thermometer is the one I use all the time during inspections. I’ll shoot the floor to confirm the floor heaters are working, and I always grab a temperature photo when the furnace is running. It’s a must-have in my inspection tool bag.
Pros

Cons
- -Klein isn’t always on sale when I check
- -You need to understand what you’re measuring (surface temp vs air temp)
