An Illustrator's Dream Day at the Quentin Blake Centre I'm using Tom's Studio calligraphy Pen and Watercolours. Join me as I explore this wonderful new space dedicated entirely to illustration. From a library packed with beautiful books and endless inspiration for artists and illustrators, to two floors of exhibitions celebrating the power of visual storytelling, there was so much to discover. I spent time admiring the vibrant, imaginative work of Murugiah before heading upstairs to see a truly special collection of original artwork by Quentin Blake himself. Seeing the brushstrokes, sketches and paintings up close was a real treat and a reminder of why his work has inspired generations of illustrators. If you love drawing, painting, picture books, illustration, or simply enjoy visiting creative spaces, I think you'll love coming along on this visit with me.
