Rotary Aquaplunge. A Desirable Rotary?!

Rotary have raided the back catalogue and brought back the Aquaplunge chronograph! Limited edition to only 500 units per colourway/strap option. Back in the 60's Rotary were making some premium watches with Swiss movements. The original watches if you can find a decent one are about £1000. Here is a modern iteration of that iconic piece but starting from only £269. Have Rotary done that watch justice? Or is this another fad release money grab?!
