Hi guys—welcome to my little studio tour. I wanted to show you my setup because it’s honestly never been this clean, and that’s only because we’re trying to sell our house and make everything look presentable. Since it was already tidy, I figured I’d pull everything out and give you a real look at how I film my lofi ASMR and Bible reading videos. My whole setup sits on sliders so I can move the entire station easily, and I keep an extension cord handy so I’m not constantly unplugging and re-plugging things. I’ve got two mic arms, a mount to hold my camera (I still don’t really know what to call it), and another mic arm that holds my light—usually positioned off to the side of my face. When I do Bible readings, I place the camera up higher so it points down, which makes it easier to move around while I read. I also keep a few random corners with decorations so I can switch up the shot. That’s also where I edit, but sometimes I get lonely up there because there are no windows, so I’ll edit downstairs instead. And fun fact: this room is right by the master bedroom, which has pros and cons—especially because I usually film late at night and I don’t love waking up my husband afterward.
