And I mean all kinds of heartbreak: a romantic breakup, losing a friend or loved one, even losing a job position—honestly, for me, I’ve even felt it as a gymnastics coach when a gymnast leaves for another gym. While I whisper Scripture, I also do “trigger rain,” my rendition of that popular “energy rain” trigger (but I’m not doing nail tapping—no nails—so we’re doing it my way). This is a gentle, Scripture-centered space to pour out your heart before God and remember what’s true: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. I focus on how the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, how the Holy Spirit intercedes when you don’t even have words to pray, and how real rest is found in Jesus—not in temporary things. I also talk about forgiveness, not taking revenge, and keeping your mind stayed on the Lord for that underlying, steady peace. My prayer is that this video ministers to you and reminds you: God knows you, He loves you, and He cares—so much for you.
