Hello hello—today I’m reading the book of Jude, and because it’s so short, I read it three times in one session. I start with a normal whisper, then I go a little bit softer, and then I finish with my best attempt at semi-unintelligible whispers (which I don’t have a lot of practice doing, so we’ll see how it goes). I also do some gentle brushing while I read, just to keep my hands occupied and add a calming trigger alongside the whispered Scripture. I open with a quick word of prayer, asking the Lord to open our hearts, ears, and minds—whether you’re a believer or not—to receive His Word, be encouraged by it, and be exhorted to do better. Jude is such a strong reminder to contend earnestly for the faith, to be aware of ungodliness, and to keep building yourself up on your most holy faith—praying in the Holy Spirit and keeping yourself in God’s love. And at the end, I’m really just hoping you can cast your cares upon Him, rest, and go to sleep—because there will be worries for tomorrow, so don’t worry about them now. God bless you.
