There have been some manufacturers recently exhibiting some bad behavior, with regards to sponsorship of videos. As well, some manufacturers try to even try influence unsponsored reviews where they have provided the equipment for free and then try to dictate terms with the videos. One manufacturer of action/360 cameras really stepped in it with multiple creators. We have included links to some of the videos below. We recently had an experience with NearStream, the maker of several products, but in this case, they asked us to review the VM33 wireless streaming camera. We delivered a very honest review with many suggestions for improvements, mostly to the software. It was such a refreshing experience, we thought the story deserved to be told. This video goes through our experience as a shining example of how the reviewer and manufacturer relationship should look. I hope all manufacturers take a page out of the NearStream book!
