Beekeeping - I Hope This Wasn't A Mistake

Beekeeping is a great learning experience. The bees are always trying to teach you something. When I noticed the brood nest was in the top two boxes leaving the bottom box empty I decided to try something... I hope it wasn't a mistake! The weather hasn't been great so far this year for a lot of hive inspections so when today got beautiful I took advantage of that time to get into the beehives. I always hope to see the Queen Bee, but sometimes it doesn't happen. Today I was very fortunate to see her! She's beautiful! I also noticed a couple of small hive beetles so I deployed the towel trick once again. Hopefully this beetle trap will catch them before they become a problem.
