Beekeeping - How Did The Splits Turn Out?

Last week I attempted to split my hives. My methods were possibly... um, a bit abnormal. Did it work? Sometimes I'm good at accepting these lessons, sometimes I'm not. It's a journey. Splitting hives is a strategy for making more bees, but also for swarm control. Bees naturally split hives to expand the colonies. This way, hopefully, we can satisfy that natural desire, but also convince them to stay on the Daddykirbs Farm. This is a longer video.
