The physiotherapy education framework defines what great physiotherapy education looks like and supports providers to create innovative, practice-ready programmes. It was co-created with educators, clinicians, students, and placement providers. It enables universities to design courses that produce confident and capable graduates. It also guides how the CSP accredits pre-registration physiotherapy degrees, ensuring consistent, values-based education nationwide. In this webinar, recorded on 25 January 2026, Sundeep Watkins, CSP Education Adviser, and Dr Helen Frank, Chair of the working group that informed the framework, explain the changes. They discuss how these will shape physiotherapy education for the current and future healthcare landscape.
