Welcome back to my yarn room, friends! In this mid-month January 2026 update for our Book Cover Inspiration MAL, I’m sharing the book cover we’re using as our spark for the month and exactly what I’ve decided to make. January’s pick is “I’v Got My Eyes On You” by Marry Higgins Clark, submitted by Sandara Moore, and I love how a book cover can get the creativity going—colors, mood, and all those little details that make you want to grab yarn right away. For my project, I chose a granny square blanket, and I’m keeping it nice and simple with Red Heart Super Saver in light periwinkle and lapis. I also mention a knit baby hat pattern from @nobleknits (linked in the description), and for that I’m using Mary Maxim Starletti in light azure.
