About This Video

Welcome back to my yarn room, friends! In this January 2026 Book Cover Inspiration MAL wrap-up, I’m sharing the book cover we used for inspiration, the pattern I chose, and the yarns I worked with. Our January book was “I’v Got My Eyes On You” by Mary Higgins Clark (submitted by Sandara Moore), and I went with a granny square blanket—because you just can’t go wrong with a classic when you want something cozy and fun to build along the way. For yarn, I used Red Heart Super Saver in Light Periwinkle and Lapis, and I’ll show you how those colors played into my January make. I also chat about a couple of other projects I had going—like a knit baby hat from NobleKnits using Mary Maxim Starletti in Light Azure, plus a shawl I followed along with from HappyCraftyHomemaker. And of course, I mention some of the lovely MAL community I watch and follow, including Bella’s Crocheted Gifts and Yarn With Heart. Then we roll right into the February reveal! Our February book inspiration is “Ashes To Ashes” by Tami Hoag (submitted by Susan S.), and I’m inviting you to join in—pick your project, let the cover inspire you, and come stitch along with me.
