Will This Rare Aquilegia Come True From Seed? 🌿 Planting, Dividing & Moving Perennials // Cottoverdi

Last year a very unusual Aquilegia appeared in my garden — purple and white striped, and unlike anything I’ve seen before. I saved the seed and grew the seedlings on, and today I’m finally planting them out… but Aquilegia don’t always come true from seed, so it will be fascinating to see what they become. While I’m working in this part of the garden I’m also dividing Achillea ‘The Pearl’, moving a Veronicastrum ‘Fascination’ that had grown too close to the Ninebark, and giving the Ninebark a gentle prune.
