Moving Our Catalpa Trees 🌿 Will They Survive? // Cottoverdi

Today in the garden we’re moving two young Catalpa aurea trees that have outgrown their original position. They’re still small enough to transplant successfully, but timing and preparation are important if you want trees to thrive after being moved. I’ll show exactly how we dig them up, reposition them and replant them so they settle back into the garden quickly. While working in this area of the garden, we’re also doing some early spring tidying — clearing last year’s growth and preparing the borders for the season ahead.
