We grabbed a Mandara Spa thermal suite day pass on our Puerto Vallarta port day and we’re so glad we did. The thalasso pool felt like a personal massage, and we loved rotating through the salt room, steam bath, and especially the snow room to cool off.
Pros
- +Thalasso pool feels like a built-in massage for shoulders and lower back
- +Great variety of thermal rooms (salt room, steam bath, snow room, heated loungers)
- +Port days can be less crowded than sea days
- +Open late (we used it most of the afternoon and into the evening)
Cons
- -$99 per person day pass cost can add up for families/groups
- -If you arrive late, you’ll want to plan your time to maximize the pass
