
Mortensen’s was the perfect way to start our day—hot coffee, beautiful weather, and all the Danish pastry decisions you can imagine. Pepper’s Florentine was a full-on sugar bomb, my lemon boat was flaky like a croissant with tons of lemon filling, and Randy’s chocolate éclair had layers of goodness (pastry cream and even raspberry sauce). With 10 bakeries in town, this one earned its reputation.
