The town of Baños is 5,955 feet in elevation and Tungurahua towers above it at 16,480 feet. Driving from Cuenca, I stopped on the southern side of Chimborazo on the way there and the northern side on the way back. Chimborazo is 20,564 feet in elevation at its peak, but I only made it to the first outpost (Reserva Faunística Chimborazo) which is about 15,700 feet. So far, I have gotten about 15 flights in on my new drone and I have to say that am very happy with it, although the yaw controller (rotation) of the drone has room for improvement – no matter how delicate my touch on the controller is, it’s very difficult to get a nice smooth pan. I also plan to do a review the Autel Robotics X-star Premium, and since I looked it with the DJI models before I bought mine, I will be sure to compare it to the competition.
