In this video I upgrade the stock wheels on my Yeti XL by baking the tires off the rims. You can do the same for any RC with glued tires. If you prefer beadlocks with the stock Axial tires, here are the Axial 3.8 beadlocks http://amzn.to/2sP6isT Here’s a tip for Yeti XL owners running the stock wheels: There’s a flaw in Axial’s design where the wheel nut comes loose, causing the hex to round out the inside of the wheel. You can prevent this by using a “real” wrench to torque down the wheel nut, double up the wheel nuts, and even use a drop of threadlock. As long as those nuts are tight, your stock wheels should last!
