In this review, I put the Navigator through extensive testing with over 160 espresso shots and countless filter brews. The grinder is actually super fast, and grind time doesn't vary much across different RPM settings: At 1500 RPM (espresso range): An 18g dose takes about 6 seconds. At 1000 RPM (espresso range): The same dose is only slightly slower, around 8 seconds. At 800 RPM (filter coffee range): An 18g dose takes roughly 8 to 9 seconds, even at the slowest RPM.
