Data structure is a storage that is used to store and organize data. It is a way of arranging data in memory so that it can be accessed and updated efficiently. Types of Data Structures Primitive data structure Non-Primitive & Custom data structure Types of Non Primitive Data Structures Linear data structure Non-linear data structure In linear data structures, the elements are arranged in sequence one after the other. Elements in non-linear data structures are not in any sequence. Instead, they are arranged in a manner where one element will be connected to one or more elements. Stack: The stack is a data structure that follows Last In First Out (LIFO) principle. The element that is added at last is accessed at first. This is like stacking your books on top of each other. The book that you put at last comes first. Queue: A queue is a useful data structure in programming. It is like the ticket queue outside a cinema hall, where the first person entering the queue is the first person who gets the ticket. Queue follows the First In First Out (FIFO) rule - the item that goes in first is the item that comes out first. Linked List: A linked list is a linear data structure that includes a series of connected nodes.
