In this video, I break it down in an unbiased way: what OpenClaw actually is, why the hype is real, and what’s already gone wrong in the wild. I start by clearing up the naming confusion (Claudebot → Moldbot → OpenClaw), then I explain the core idea: this isn’t a chatbot. It’s an agent framework that connects an LLM to your OS, your browser automation (CDP/Playwright), and your chat apps like WhatsApp/Telegram/Slack—so it can read/write files, run shell commands, execute scripts, and automate real work. Then I get into the part most hype videos skip: the security flaws and the real-world attack chains. We’ve already seen misconfigured gateways exposed to the internet, plain-text tokens and API keys leaking, and the bigger systemic risks—prompt injection + untrusted content + outside actions is a dangerous combo when the agent can touch your email, files, and tools. My takeaway is simple: OpenClaw is one of the most exciting personal agent projects right now, but you must treat it like a remote admin daemon, not like Siri.
