In this video I’m doing a full market booth mock set-up to map out my vision for Collect Fest CON. Because I’ve only been crocheting for about 3 and a half months, I really wanted to take the pressure off and actually “see” how everything could look before the big day—what I’ll hang, what I’ll stack, and what needs to be front and centre. It’s basically me playing market Tetris with my crochet makes and figuring out what feels inviting and easy for people to browse. I talk through how I want my space to flow, how I’m thinking about display height, and how to make my stall look cohesive without it feeling cluttered. The big takeaway is that a mock set-up at home helps you spot problems early—like not having enough vertical display, not leaving room for customers to move, or not giving your best sellers the spotlight. If you’re prepping for your first market (or you’re just trying to level up your set-up), this is a practical way to test your layout and feel more confident before you pack the car.
