The Yellow Bird | Galliano Daiquiri?

Today we're going to make the Yellow Bird cocktail, which looks much like a daiquiri with Galliano as an ingredient. It does have an orange liqueur, like a margarita made with rum. We find it a bit... odd, but that could also be the use of Dry Curacao instead of a cheap sweeter orange liqueur. However, it's not _bad_ per se, it's just not exactly the excitement we thought we may get from it. Yellow Bird - 1 oz Light Rum - 1/2 oz Galliano - 1/2 oz Triple Sec - 1/2 oz Lime Juice The recipe is an International Bartender Association (IBA) recipe classic, but we're not sure there is room for it when you consider a standard daiquiri.
