Today we're going to make an excuse to celebrate Earth Day with a Garden Gimlet. Because it's got garden in the name, so that's pretty earthy! AwesomeDrinks Bartender Starter Kit https://shop.awesomedrinks.com/products/home-bartender-starter-kit/ The Garden gimlet is a sour cocktail, probably more so than most with 3/4 oz lime juice to 2 oz gin it should be fairly well balanced. However, the 1/2 oz Honey leaves the sour side up and the basil and cucumber do not help bring up any sweetness. This is a sour cocktail for those that enjoy more veggie-forward flavors with a lime bite. The use of gin is fairly standard for such a drink but many may want to add a bit more honey syrup. While honey does give a sharper sweetness it has a hard time competing with the lime.
