In this second Leonardo video, I’m sharing three of my custom-made Leonardo Momento Zero Grande pens and everything that makes them feel so special in my collection—colorways, nib choices, and the inks I picked to match each one. I also talk about the San Francisco Pen Show (August 29–31, 2025) and the Leonardo pen raffle/giveaway happening around the show, because if you’re planning to go, it’s absolutely something you’ll want on your radar. I walk you through each custom pen: my MZG Cosmic Swirl with a #8 titanium broad nib inked with Leonardo Grigio Roccia, my MZG Rainforest Waterfall with a #8 14K broad nib inked with Arancio Caldo, and my MZG Blue Jay with a #8 14K broad nib inked with Asa Blu. Then I do writing samples (yes, the juicy broad experience) and even bring in quotes on onion skin so you can really see how these nibs and inks behave. I wrap up with my final thoughts on why these customs feel worth it, and I also recap a few related goodies like Rickshaw—because the pen life doesn’t stop at the pen.
