Welcome to my 2025 fountain pen year in review. While most people finish their recaps in December, my schedule (and my ADHD) usually means I am just getting started in January. In this video, I am sharing the top five pens that defined my year, along with the data-driven system I use to track my collection of over 80 pens. I take a deep dive into my storage solutions, including a sentimental heirloom jewelry box from Japan, and my dual tracking system that uses both analog notebooks and a digital Air Table database. Shout out to @markyourpages for his share of a Airtable database system for pens and inks in this video: https://youtu.be/DO9I5R0_hQU?si=diRKe1AuniaoDi6r We will look at the hard statistics of my collection, including my average pen scores and the total number of pen and ink pairings I made throughout 2025.
