In this video, I'm reviewing the 240mm Sujihiki knife from Tojiro. The Tojiro knives are among the more affordable Japanese-made knife brands; unfortunately, the prices are still high for those in Europe. Moreover, I hope that Tojiro or a retailer can bring down the price that is more comparable with the USA's pricing. 🛒S H O P: Tojiro DP Sujihiki F805 – (240mm): NA: https://amzn.to/2XeiBN8 EU: https://amzn.to/30dWF6X Tojiro DP Sujihiki F806– (270mm): EU: https://amzn.to/30dRlk3 J A P A N: You can always import the knives. Keep in mind that import tax may apply (but in some cases still cheaper). https://www.globalkitchenjapan.com/ PS: Keep in mind that ordering outside your country, you may experience shipment delay or lost packaging due to the current situation worldwide. N O T E S: The Tojiro is a decent knife, especially for the price that they sell them for. It is a shame that many of us see the Tojiro as a Japanese budget brand; the knife quility and finish is just good. Despite the ''budget'' stigma, they offer more product line-up and series that should not be considered a budget. But many of us won't buy them because we already labeled Tojiro as a budget brand (which is why more retailers are not offering the expensive line-up outside of Japan). I personally don't like how they market themself, they know that they are now labeled as a ''budget'' brand in the USA, but they are trying to market their knives in Europe for the same knife as a more premium knife with their European MSRP. I guess that they will eventually try to cross the line and make the price more equal. (they either make the knife more expensive in the USA or bring the EU price down to the USA prices).
