Hey guys, in this vlog I’m back filming on my iPhone while we’re out at Gateway—also celebrating with some of our church friends because Big Eastwood’s Singles Ministry just hit their 11-year anniversary. While we were already there (and before meeting a client later that evening), I decided to get a quick practice in and play a couple of games to test something I’ve been thinking about for a while: bowling without my wrist support. This was my first full game back without the wrist support, and honestly it felt super alien at the start because ever since I came back into bowling I’ve relied on it. But growing up as a youth bowler, I didn’t use one—and lately, coaching and training other bowlers has actually strengthened my wrist more than I realized. I noticed it when I could cup even a 10 lb house ball and thought, “Wait… I can do this without the support?” The big takeaway for me is trusting the process and trusting the Lord—Proverbs 3:5-6 is the verse for this video. And praise God, I finished with a 210—my first 200 game again without the wrist support. Moving forward, I’m planning to remove it and keep growing, not just in bowling, but in faith too.
