About This Video

In this video, I’m sharing a “new beginnings” moment in my bowling journey. In my last upload I mentioned that it was my last league game for now, and in this one I talk about why I begged off league—because I’m focusing on other things right now. Honestly, it taught me a big lesson: I need to be grateful for every chance I get to bowl. There were seasons where I took bowling for granted, like I could just do it forever whenever I wanted, but that’s not always the case. Before I hit the lanes, I also give a quick shoutout to the CCF Eastwood Movement—“movement” stands for Moving Men to Christ—and I share how thankful I am for the fellowship and what I learned from that event. Then I head over to the lanes at Gateway, hoping to squeeze in a couple of games before I have coaching scheduled in an hour. Even with a tournament happening, I’m just grateful to be able to throw shots again, and I want my bowling to point back to Him. I end with a verse that really sums up my takeaway: 1 Corinthians 10:31—whatever you do, do it for the glory of God. For me, this is a reset. A brand new “us,” playing inspired bowling for His glory.
