About This Video

In this video, I’m asking a question that’s bigger than bowling: are we truly glorifying God in what we do—at work, at school, at home, and even when we step onto the lanes? I share a personal heart check I have to do every time I bowl. Is my motivation just to win, win money, or prove something, or am I using my time, skills, and attitude to honor God? I anchor this in Scripture—1 Corinthians 10:31—and remind us that “whatever you do” includes bowling. I also get real about the times I’ve been frustrated with my performance and wasn’t the best ambassador of Christ on the lanes. God reminded me that every gift and opportunity—including the ability to strike and spare—is from Him (James 1:17). Then I break it down into practical ways to glorify God through bowling: attitude (humble win or lose), integrity (play fair, respect rules and etiquette), encouragement (build up teammates and even opponents), and gratitude (recognize everything is from God). My challenge is simple: next time you bowl, ask yourself if your goal is just a strike—or something greater. Trophies fade, but God’s glory lasts forever.
