Hey guys, welcome back to the channel—today I’m at Superbowl Makati Cinema Square in our bowling jersey because we’ve got coaching scheduled at 7:00 p.m. It’s a Friday, and with something important happening tomorrow (my wife and I just completed the GLC training of CCF and we’re graduating), I wanted to celebrate the right way: coach first, then roll a few games after. Last week I focused on the basics with Nico, but in this session it’s all about refining his approach, form, and timing. His first few shots still had some misses, but step by step you can see the confidence and control build. After coaching, I went into my own training—this is our third practice without wrist support, so every throw feels raw and every mistake gets magnified. We started with simple drills for balance, timing, and release, then moved into the full approach. Some shots hit, some missed, but progress isn’t perfection—it’s giving your best, learning from mistakes, and trusting God through it all. This practice reminded me it’s not just about skill, it’s about heart. Colossians 3:23 says to work with all your heart as working for the Lord, and that’s the mindset I’m bringing to bowling, coaching, and life: do your best, and trust God with the rest.
