About This Video

In this vlog, I’m taking you guys with me to Santa Lucia for the Pacific Bowling Association (PBA) Open Championships 2025—something we’ve been waiting on for months. I share a bit of the behind-the-scenes side too, because I’ve been blessed to be part of the organizing team with the PBA board and officers. From sponsor tarps and decor to the opening ceremony, this event took a lot of preparation, and it was awesome finally seeing it come to life. If you want the full opening ceremony, I point you to the Pasig Bowling Association Facebook page where it’s posted. On the lanes, this is all about chasing our first Classified Masters Finals spot. I walk you through my qualifying mindset: it’s really you versus the lane, and my goal was simple—shoot a 600 scratch series to give myself a fighting chance. I start with the GEM Pearl, make adjustments as the set goes, and I’m honest about the misses (especially those 10-pins) because that’s real tournament bowling. After ending with a 1285 total for qualifying, I bring you into that late-night moment while editing—waiting for results—and by God’s grace, we made the cut. We’re in at #26, and we’re bowling Sunday.
