About This Video

In this video, I’m back on the lanes for a much-needed practice session with my brother Sly at Santa Lucia—one of the tougher centers to score at compared to the lanes we usually play. I’m rocking my Press It On Bowling jersey (shout out Press It On PH), and I also share that we’ve got Charles Patriarca Bowling / First Strike Bowling Academy jersey designs available through our socials. I’ve been focusing more on coaching lately, so anytime I get a chance to bowl, I treat it as a real blessing and I appreciate every step on the approach a lot more. Before we head in, I do a quick prayer and put the day in the Lord’s hands—asking for protection from injury and for wisdom as we play. I also forgot my glasses, so yes… we’re really out here trying to find a line without seeing clearly. This is also our third or fourth official practice without wrist support as I work on changing my release, and we take it seriously. I throw the Storm The Road and talk through the look I’m getting—especially that better mid-lane reaction once we dial it in. We wrap up with our verse of the week, Colossians 3:23, because for me it’s always bowling with purpose: working with all my heart, laughing with friends, and giving glory to God on the lanes.
