In this video, I bring you along for a real day in the life of me as a bowling coach—everything from starting the day in prayer to getting to the bowling center and putting in the work on the lanes. Before I coach, I ask the Lord for guidance, protection, strength, and wisdom, because I know I can’t do this on my own. I’m blessed that I get to glorify His name through what I do at First Strike Bowling Academy. On the lanes, I’m coaching Troy and focusing on the small details that create big change—like balance and posture. One of the key adjustments we worked on was his leaning: getting him to stop leaning too much to the left and finding a better, more stable position. That’s the heart of coaching for me—small, consistent steps and purposeful training, while still enjoying the process. And that’s my biggest takeaway for you too: growth doesn’t happen overnight, but the little improvements add up to big victories. As Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will make your paths straight.
