You may be wondering what exactly is the best lighting for your houseplants? You see bright indirect light on the plant label but don't know exactly what that means. What is low light? What plants to put in which windows? The mysteries of plant lighting inside can be tricky but it's not as hard as it seems. All houseplants need light, even low light houseplants. In this video I talk about about natural indoor plant lighting! I discuss how much light indoor plants get from each direction window as well as how to tell what type of sunlight a plant needs. High light plants will prefer south facing and west facing windows while low light houseplants will prefer noth facing windows. We also go over some signs that your houseplants may be getting too much or not enough sun exposure & what to do in that situation. Natural lighting indoors is so important for plant health, of course there are grow lights that can be introduced into a houseplant jungle if the current lighting isn’t enough.
