US President Trump signed a copy of the initial agreement while attending a dinner in France during the G-7 summit this week. And, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian signed a copy of the same document in Tehran. The 14-point memorandum calls for the lifting of the US blockade on Iran and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. It also calls for an end to military operations on all fronts including Lebanon.
