Massachusetts high school forfeits lacrosse semifinal game after graduation photo smoking “cigars”

The Ipswich High School boys lacrosse team forfeited their state semifinal game Tuesday after the school district blocked multiple students from playing because they were photographed with cigars after graduation. It is against Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) rules to consume tobacco. But, the students' parents said the cigars were fake and that they brought proof to the school.
